La "colpa" è del fatto che i dj bravi a spaziare (sui generi, oltre che sul mixaggio sincronizzato) sono ormai merce rara. Inutile aggiungere che quando si mixava coi Technics (i giradischi, intendo!) la bravura del dj era un elemento molto più importante di quanto non sia oggi. La strumentazione moderna dà molti vantaggi (pure troppi!), ma l'arte del mettere i dischi è quella di Larry Levan, non certo di coloro che usano 4 lettori cd Pioneer e loopano pure se stessi.
