Alan Braxe Posted September 22, 2005 Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 Ecco un pezzo house di quelli che non dovrebbero mai mancare nella collezione degli appassionati (e non) : Sex O Sonique - I thought it was you [12 inch mix] Fighettino, delizioso, piu' da ascolto radiofonico che da 'scatenamento' in pista, fu passato molte volte da alba in djt e fu per 3 settimane al num'1 della Suburbia Chart (primavera 1998). Gran disco, con classico hit-hat 'alla Full Intention'. Oggi sarebbe improponibile, troppo morbido per le esigenze attuali. Sinceramente... non capisco la GENIALITA' di THE WEEKEND ( il pezzo piu' famoso di m. gray): una COMMERCIALATA, visto che essere commerciali pare sia diventato un INSULTO mentre invece e' NORMALISSIMO, molto paracula, un motivetto carino e sempre uguale. un Bel pezzo ma niente non un capolavoro. E ricorda che Gray non ha fatto solo Weekend: negli anni 90 e' stato dietro innumerevoli progetti con altri pseudonimi, ad esempio con i Full Intention, i Ronaldo's Revenge e, senza andare troppo lontano, proprio con l'oggetto di questo post, i Sex-O-Sonique. Direi che M-Gray se la gioca con gigi per cio' che concerne le produzioni anni 90; mentre, per cio' che concerne i tempi attuali, lo stende al primo round. Parere personale, come sempre.
